Echo Tech/Cardiac Sonographer

Cardiac Sonographer Delnor Non-Invasive Cardio-Part-Time Days

Responsibilities:

• Performs diagnostic electrocardiograms.
• Attaches electrode lead lines to proper body areas based on type of test ordered.
• Prepares skin and surroundings to ensure valid results.
• Obtains and documents ECG readings as directed.
• Reviews patient's record and instructs patient prior to and during procedures.
• Monitors patient during procedures and reports any abnormal findings.
• Identifies and corrects for artifacts.
• Notes and forwards results to attending physician for analysis and interpretation.
• Maintains ECG equipment and supplies.
• Performs other duties as assigned

Shift Information: Day Job (1st)

Pay Range: 40.84 - 51.05 (Hourly Rate)

Minimum Qualifications:

• Required: Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer or Registered Cardiac Sonographer
• Cert BLS
• Physical Demand Requirement: Physical demands required for this role include lift/carry up to 50 pounds and a push/pull force up to 50 pounds
