The Echo and Vascular Imaging Technician will provide high-quality patient care while performing diagnostic imaging procedures. You will create a calming atmosphere to help patients follow examination instructions effectively.

Willingness to assist at nearby practices when needed

Primary Responsibilities:

• Prepare and position patients for diagnostic imaging procedures.
• Explain procedures and processes to patients.
• Adjust imaging equipment based on patient needs, ensuring proper exposure factors for accurate imaging.
• Utilize radiation protection techniques to minimize exposure to patients and staff.
• Perform Transthoracic Echocardiographic examinations.
• Conduct various Vascular studies, including carotid and lower extremity arterial and venous duplex exams.
• Perform qualitative and quantitative analyses of data and generate preliminary reports.

Required Qualifications:

• Graduate of an accredited school of Ultrasound.
• RDCS/RCS and RVS/RVT certifications.
• Valid license or temporary permit to practice in New York.
• 1+ years of experience in Ultrasound.
• Ability to work independently and travel between different locations.

Physical Qualification:

• Physical health sufficient to meet the ergonomic standards of the position.

The hourly pay range for this role is $28.61 to $56.06, dependent on qualifications and experience.
