EC Special Education Teacher

EC Teacher Position

Amergis Educational Staffing is seeking an EC Teacher for the 2025 26 SY. Must have NC teaching license and a year or more experience.

School Details

~700 kids

7:30a 3p

1 Self-Contained EC Teacher

• 5 kids (K-3); AU stemming behaviors
• 2 TAs in class

1 Resource/Inclusion Teacher Middle School

• Middle School ages
• Case load = ~28 kids
• Push in (only a few kids) and mostly pull out (small groups)

Duties

• Complete lesson plans
• Complete progress reports
• Use assessments and data to inform instructional practices
• Utilize IEP information to adapt instruction to reach the needs of students

Requirements

• Must be licensed teacher in North Carolina or hold active out of state Special Education Teaching License
• Must be licensed by NCDPI in EC General Curriculum
• Minimum 1 year of teaching experience required
• Passionate teacher who puts the students first
• Strong desire to help kids
