Job Title: Driver/Shop Helper

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Driver/Shop Helper to join our team. This role involves loading and unloading deliveries at the shop, organizing materials, and delivering products to clients. Approximately 60% of the time will be spent driving a transit van. In addition to driving, the candidate will learn about saw operations and blade cleaning to prepare products for delivery.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload deliveries at the shop.

• Organize and put away materials.

• Deliver products to clients, primarily driving a transit van.

• Learn and operate saws for cleaning and preparing products.

• Ensure all deliveries are made efficiently and safely.

• Maintain a clean driving record.

Essential Skills

• Minimum of 2 years driving/delivering experience.

• Ability to lift up to 100 lbs.

• Clean driving record with no more than 3 points.

• Mechanical inclination with experience using hand tools such as wrenches and screwdrivers.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience with UPS or Amazon delivery services is advantageous.

Work Environment

The role primarily involves road work with some time spent in a clean, albeit non-temperature-controlled, shop environment. The position offers a consistent first shift schedule from Monday to Friday, 7:30 AM to 4 PM, providing a structured workweek.
