Distribution Designer

Electrical Power Distribution Designer

We are seeking three experienced professionals to join our team in supporting pole replacement projects in Texas. This role requires a minimum of 2 years of experience in the industry and offers the opportunity to design and layout electrical power distribution systems, update and modify existing systems, and ensure reliability and safety.

Responsibilities:

• Design and layout electrical power distribution systems.
• Update and modify existing electrical systems to improve performance.
• Ensure systems are designed to prevent overloads and outages.
• Collaborate effectively with engineers and other professionals.
• Utilize CAD software and other tools for design and project management.
• Adhere to safety policies and procedures to ensure safe operations.
• Track deadlines and project progress to meet timelines.

Essential Skills:

• Bachelor's degree in industrial engineering, supply chain management, logistics, or a related field.
• Strong analytical skills and ability to interact with various stakeholders.
• Proficiency in CAD software and other relevant design tools.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in distribution design for pole reject/pole replacement projects.
• Minimum of 2 years of DDS experience.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

• Experience supporting AEP projects is a plus.
• Entry-level positions may be available for candidates with an associate's degree or certificate in CAD.

Pay and Benefits:

The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $33.00/hr.
