Electrical Distribution Design Engineer

We are seeking a skilled Electrical Distribution Design Engineer to join our team and develop detailed engineering designs for overhead distribution systems. The ideal candidate will create comprehensive construction packages and apply relevant codes and standards to all design work, contributing to the expansion of our utility footprint across the country.

Responsibilities

• Develop detailed engineering designs for overhead distribution systems including feeders, transformers, fuses, capacitors, and pole lines.
• Create construction packages comprising material lists, site drawings, and schematics.
• Apply relevant codes and standards such as NESC and NEC to all design work.
• Conduct field walkdowns and surveys to validate existing conditions and gather data for design.

Essential Skills

• 2+ years of Power Distribution Experience
• Proficiency in CAD software, preferably AutoCAD, with MicroStation as an alternative.
• Reliable transportation for field visits.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience with PPL is a plus.

Work Environment

This role is primarily remote, with field visits required to site locations including Allentown, PA; Harrisburg, PA; Lancaster, PA; Scranton, PA; Bloomsburg, PA; and Williamsport, PA. Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $38.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
