Director Data Governance & Quality

We are searching for an experienced data leader to establish and drive our enterprise data governance and data quality strategy, with a focus on enabling artificial intelligence and large language model (LLM) initiatives. This role will be responsible in the design and implementation of data governance frameworks, policies, and operating procedures to ensure data assets are trusted, high quality, and well-governed. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in data governance, data quality and metadata management combined with vision to establish a data foundation that supports analytics and AI. This role resides within the Business Management team and will partner closely with investment bankers, Technology, Legal & Compliance and other management & operations functions.

Required Skills & Experience
- 10 + years of experience leading data management, governance, or data quality within global financial institutions
- Experience designing data governance frameworks from the ground up in investment banking or capital markets and Large Language model's
- Understanding of data management disciplines: metadata, lineage, reference data, and master data management
- Establish firmwide data governance framework, including policies, and standards, compliance polices for data privacy and data sharing
- Experience partnering with IT and Data Management teams on tools, platforms and best practices
- Experience enabling artificial intelligence within a financial environments in regards to Data governance
