In our one-on-one ABA environment, you will engage hands-on with children aged 18 months to 8 years, using ethical and evidence-based ABA techniques in a center-based supportive setting. Your Role as a Behavior Therapist
- Implement one-on-one ABA therapy tailored to help children with Autism reach their full potential by following treatment plans, collecting data, writing insurance notes, and applying feedback from supervisors during observation sessions.
- Foster development in early childhood (ages 18 months to 8 years) using engaging and enjoyable therapeutic activities.
- Collaborate with a dedicated team to enhance treatment outcomes, safety, and create an enjoyable working atmosphere.
- Engage with children through play, movement, and imitation. Activities may range from running and dancing to reading and playing with toys, ensuring a lively and joyful experience.
- Communicate positively with all stakeholders (colleagues, families, supervisors) to coordinate activities, celebrate achievements, and advocate for individual needs.
What You Need for this Role
- Physical capability to lift and move children in a dynamic environment, including lifting up to 30 lbs, bending, squatting, and running to stay engaged with the kids.
- Maintain a therapeutic environment by keeping play areas organized, tidy, and stimulating for the children.
- Multitasking skills to manage several actions, decisions, or conversations while ensuring safety for all.
- Teamwork is essential; you may be required to travel to support nearby centers when needed.
- A valid driver's license and reliable transportation are mandatory.
- You must be at least 18 years old and possess a High School diploma or GED equivalent.
Complete the RBT certification process within 20 days of starting by completing a 40-hour training program, hands-on competency evaluation, registering, and passing the board exam.

Compensation Based on Experience & Education:
- Associates/High School: $20.00 - $24.00
- Bachelors: $20.00 - $25.50
- Masters: $20.00 - $28.00
For entry-level applicants, your first raise follows certification as RBT, typically within 21 days.
Preferred Experience:
- Childcare (nanny, babysitter, tutor, preschool teacher, daycare, etc.)
- Mental health advocacy or roles (QMHP, behavioral health technicians)
- Experience as camp counselors, volunteers, or Sunday school teachers
- Degrees in teaching, special education, sociology, psychology, or related fields are preferred.
- Background as paraprofessionals, direct support, or life skills assistants is valuable.
- A passion for supporting children with Autism Spectrum Disorder.
- A strong desire to join a caring, team-driven culture.
