Direct Support Professional (DSP)

Location: North East, MD

Pay Rate: $20/hour

Contract Length: 8 weeks

Start Date: ASAP

Openings:

• Full-Time (4 openings):
• 2 Weekend Lead: Fri 3:00pm10:15pm, Sat/Sun 7:00am10:15pm (36 hrs/week)
• 1 Overnight: Sun 10:00pm8:30am, MonWed 11:15pm8:30am (36 hrs/week)
• 1 FriSun: Hours TBD
• PRN (23 openings): Flexible shifts available

Requirements:

• Hands-on CNA experience and/or recent group home experience
• Experience with individuals with intellectual/developmental disabilities (CCR is a DDA Provider)
• Reliable transportation required
• Ability to lift 50 lbs
• CPR certification required
• Willingness to complete DDA, MANDT & Choking Dysphagia training
• EMR: iCareManager

Responsibilities:

• Support residents in daily living activities including bathing, feeding, medication administration (including G-tube), and housekeeping
• Follow person-centered plans and assist with goal planning
• Use Hoyer lifts and assist with mobility
• Maintain professional appearance and hygiene standards
