Digital Press Operator

As a Digital Press Operator, you will operate and maintain digital presses to produce high-quality print jobs according to specifications. You will review job tickets, verify materials, ensure file accuracy, and set up the press for proper color, registration, and paper alignment.

Responsibilities:

• Operate and maintain digital presses to produce print jobs according to specifications.
• Review job tickets and verify materials, file accuracy, and finishing requirements before production.
• Set up press for proper color, registration, and paper alignment.
• Monitor press runs to maintain consistent quality and troubleshoot issues as they arise.
• Maintain accurate records of press operations, including run counts, downtime, and maintenance.
• Inspect finished work for accuracy, color quality, and overall appearance.

Essential Skills:

• Proficiency with digital presses, such as HP Indigo, Xerox, or similar.
• Knowledge of color management, RIP software, and file preparation.
• Strong mechanical aptitude with troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to read and interpret job tickets and technical specifications.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

• Experience in machine setup and fabrication.
• Solid machine operators from other industries will be considered, though printing experience is preferred.

Pay and Benefits:

The pay range for this position is $39520.00 - $43680.00/yr.
