Sodexo is seeking a Registered Dietitian (union) for a full time position at Bergen New Bridge Medical Center (BNBMC), a 1,070-bed acute and long term care hospital in Paramus, NJ. BNBMC, affiliated with Rutgers University, is the largest hospital and nursing home in New Jersey, providing comprehensive acute care, behavioral health and long term care services.

What You'll Do

• Provide exceptional nutrition care to patients on long term care and behavioral health units, with potential for some acute care/inpatient coverage as needed;
• Work rotating weekends and holidays providing whole hospital coverage;
• Participate in community events, group education classes and/or health fairs, as assigned;
• Serve as an active member of the food & nutrition team, completing meal rounds, inservices and other related tasks as needed;
• Be knowledgeable of the Nutrition Care Process; and
• Efficiently and effectively organize clinical nutrition and patient care responsibilities.

Qualifications & Requirements

Minimum Education Requirement:

Master's degree with completion of required coursework and supervised practice as dictated by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND)

For those eligible for the registration exam prior to 1/1/24:

Bachelor's degree with completion of required coursework and supervised practice as dictated by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND)

Credentials Requirement:

Meets eligibility requirements for Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RD/RDN) by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) and will become registered within 120 days of hire. Certification/licensure as required by state(s) of practice. In some states and/or facilities state certification/licensure is required at the time of hire.
