Clinical Dietitian

Sodexo is seeking a Clinical Dietitian for WVU Medicine Jefferson Medical Center in Ranson, WV. Jefferson Medical Center is a small Critical Access Hospital. This dietitian will cover all inpatient units at Jefferson, provide coverage at Berkeley Medical Center in Martinsburg, WV, and have order-writing privileges, allowing you to practice at their full scope.

New graduates and experienced dietitians are welcome to apply!

What You'll Do

1. Provide nutritional care for a variety of inpatient units
2. Have order writing privileges
3. Educate healthcare team members, including physicians and nurses

• Registered Dietitian credentials and be licensed in WV (or eligible)

Qualifications & Requirements

Minimum Education Requirement:

Master's degree with completion of required coursework and supervised practice as dictated by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND)

For those eligible for the registration exam prior to 1/1/24:

Bachelor's degree with completion of required coursework and supervised practice as dictated by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND)

Credentials Requirement:

Meets eligibility requirements for Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RD/RDN) by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) and will become registered within 120 days of hire. In some states and/or facilities, the RD/RDN credentials is required at the time of hire. Certification/licensure as required by state(s) of practice. In some states and/or facilities, state certification/licensure is required at the time of hire.
