Sodexo is seeking a full time Registered Dietitian to provide nutrition care at SSM Health hospitals in St. Charles County. The main hospital will be at St. Jospeh - St. Charles which is a community acute care facility with a Behavioral Health facility in Wentzville, Missouri. Position will work ~32 hours per week with excellent benefits.

What You'll Do

• Primarily responsible for a variety of inpatient units such as cardiac step down, critical care, stroke/neuro, general medicine and surgery, oncology and outpatient coverage 1 day per week and prn.
• Perform monthly test trays, meal accuracies and patient rounds.
• Be able to develop a strong rapport with the nursing and medical staff.
• Work with the Clinical Nutrition Manager and other Sodexo Management team to provide exemplary care to patients, staff and community.
• Work with dietetic interns from various area programs for acute care clinical training

Qualifications & Requirements

Minimum Education Requirement:

Master's degree with completion of required coursework and supervised practice as dictated by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND)

For those eligible for the registration exam prior to 1/1/24:

Bachelor's degree with completion of required coursework and supervised practice as dictated by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND)

Credentials Requirement:

Meets eligibility requirements for Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RD/RDN) by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) and will become registered within 120 days of hire. Certification/licensure as required by state(s) of practice. In some states and/or facilities state certification/licensure is required at the time of hire

Minimum Functional Experience - 3 years experienced practitioner able to work with minimal supervision
