Sodexo is seeking a Registered Dietitian to come join their dynamic team at SSM St Joseph Hospital West in Lake St Louis, a 215 bed acute care hospital plus 30 bed acute Rehab facility. The position will work full time with excellent benefits.

What You'll Do

• Provide education to patients, as well as staff and work well with physicians, nursing, and ancillary staff
• Possess the ability to creatively problem solve, work independently with minimal supervision and make decisions while working within a self-directed and team-oriented work environment.
• Have excellent interpersonal communication skills to interact with a wide variety of individuals and groups
• Strong time management and organizational skills are needed to be successful in this position

What You Bring

• Familiarity with the Nutrition Care Process and Electronic Health Records, facility uses EPIC
• Strong comprehension of the principles of clinical nutrition practice; position will float across all units including ICU and Stepdown.
• A Registered Dietitian, eligible for licensure in the state; and
• The ability to meet DOH/state/federal and company standards

Qualifications & Requirements

Minimum Education Requirement:

Master's degree with completion of required coursework and supervised practice as dictated by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND)

For those eligible for the registration exam prior to 1/1/24:

Bachelor's degree with completion of required coursework and supervised practice as dictated by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND)

Credentials Requirement:

Meets eligibility requirements for Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RD/RDN) by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) and will become registered within 120 days of hire. In some states and/or facilities the RD/RDN credentials is required at the time of hire. Certification/licensure as required by state(s) of practice. In some states and/or facilities state certification/licensure is required at the time of hire.
