Full-Time Dietitian Nutritionist

Sodexo is seeking a Full-Time Dietitian Nutritionist for HCA Rapides Regional Medical Center, a 380-bed facility located in Alexandria, LA. This is a great opportunity for a new RD, as well as an experienced dietitian.

3 weeks' vacation, 3 personal days and benefits on your 1st day! Reimbursement for AND dues, state licensure fees and CDR renewal! Money toward continuing education events!

Up to $5000 tuition reimbursement annually!

Responsibilities

• Provide nutritional care for a variety of inpatient units
• Work 1 weekend per month providing hospital wide coverage
• Perform quality improvement initiatives such as patient satisfaction rounds and monthly test trays
• Educate healthcare team members, including physicians and nurses
• Assist with Food Service Management as needed

Qualifications

• Registered dietitian credentials and be licensed in Louisiana
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Good time management skills, be a self-starter and a team player
• The ability to work well with physicians, nursing and ancillary staff

Qualifications & Requirements

Minimum Education Requirement:

Master's degree with completion of required coursework and supervised practice as dictated by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND)

For those eligible for the registration exam prior to 1/1/24:

Bachelor's degree with completion of required coursework and supervised practice as dictated by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND)

Credentials Requirement:

Meets eligibility requirements for Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RD/RDN) by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) and will become registered within 120 days of hire. Certification/licensure as required by state(s) of practice. In some states and/or facilities state certification/licensure is required at the time of hire.
