Key Responsibilities:

• Work under the guidance of a Registered Dietitian to provide exceptional nutrition care for residents, adhering to the latest standards, guidelines, and regulations.
• Assist in planning, preparing, and delivering meals that align with individual dietary needs and physician orders.
• Collaborate with the dietary team to evaluate and implement personalized nutritional plans for residents.
• Ensure compliance with food safety, sanitation, and therapeutic diet standards.
• Maintain detailed records of residents' dietary requirements and modifications.
• Engage positively with residents, staff, and guests, providing outstanding service and support.
• Clean and sanitize kitchen equipment, utensils, and dining areas to ensure a safe environment.
• Carry out additional assigned tasks as needed.

Qualifications:

• Associate's degree in nutrition/dietetics or as a Certified Dietary Manager is required.
• 1-3 years of dietary experience in long-term care is necessary.
• Progress toward Registration by the Commission on Dietetic Registration is preferred.
• Solid understanding of nutrition and food safety standards.
• Able to accurately follow meal schedules and food tray cards.
• Excellent communication skills with strong record-keeping abilities.
• Able to foster positive interactions with residents and staff members.
• Must be capable of lifting/carrying 10 lbs. and pushing/pulling 10 lbs. while working in food and cleaning environments.
• Compliance with COVID-19 vaccination policies is required.
• Must reside in the service area.
