Compensation Range: $45,000 - $54,000 annually.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the food service program to ensure high standards of food quality and safety.
• Maintain accurate records of income, expenditures, food supplies, personnel, and equipment using HCSG computer software.
• Conduct staff training and quality control, and assist in various dietary roles as needed.
• Communicate directives effectively between clients and HCSG staff.
• Ensure safety procedures are followed for mixing and using cleaning solutions and promptly report any equipment issues.
• Follow infection control and handwashing procedures to maintain a clean environment.
• Demonstrate consistent attendance and punctuality.
• Foster a positive atmosphere through courteous interactions with all stakeholders.
• Perform any other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Certification as a Dietary Manager (CDM) is required.
• Associate's degree or higher in food service management or related fields preferred.
• A minimum of two years' experience in quantity food production/service and supervision preferred.
• Must obtain Food Protection Manager (FPM) certification within the first 14 days of employment.
• Must obtain Food Service Manager (FSM) and Long-Term Care Food Service (LTC-FSM) certifications within the first 60 days.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Positive attitude and ability to interact effectively with a diverse group.
• Compliance with COVID-19 vaccination policies.
• Ability to lift/carry up to 50 pounds, and perform tasks that require standing, bending, and walking for extended periods.
• Basic computer skills necessary for record-keeping and report completion.
• Residency within the service area is required.
