Diesel Mechanic

Our client, a concrete manufacturing company is seeking a Fleet Maintenance/Diesel Technician to join their team. As a Diesel Technician, you will be repairing a fleet of company vehicles. The ideal candidate will have solid mechanical skillset, good attitude and be reliable which will align successfully in the organization.

Location:Cincinnati, OH

Pay Range: $27-34/hour

What's the Job?

  Perform routine maintenance on fleet vehicles such as Front and Rear Concrete Mixers, Dump Truck, and Loader including oil changes, tire rotations, and brake inspections

  n

  Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical issues on fleet vehicles

  n

• n

  Conduct regular inspections to identify potential issues and prevent breakdowns

  n
n
• n

  Troubleshoot any issues with WABCO vehicle control systems and ABS systems

  n

• n

  Keep accurate records of all maintenance and repairs performed on fleet vehicles

  n
n

What's Needed?

  High school diploma or equivalent

  n
n
• n

  CDL preferred (Company can assist with obtaining license)

  n
n
• n

  Completion of a vocational or technical program in automotive repair or related field

  n
n
• n

  Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Fleet Mechanic or similar role

  n
n
• n

  Preferred experience with Cummins equipment, CAT equipment, and Allison transmissions

  n
n
