Traveling Heavy Equipment Mechanic

Established solar tracking installation company seeks a Traveling Heavy Equipment Mechanic to service and repair machinery on large-scale ground mount solar sites across the U.S.

Competitive pay: $40$45/hr (DOE)

Daily per diem

All travel expenses prepaid (hotel, airfare, rental truck)

Troubleshoot and repair hydraulic machinery (post pounders, drill rigs)

Perform electrical diagnostics and circuit repairs

Service diesel engines, hydraulics, pneumatics, and PLC systems

Conduct welding and fabrication as needed

5+ years of heavy equipment experience (drill rig experience a plus)

Strong skills in hydraulics, diesel, electrical, and controls (CANBUS, PLC, etc.)

Valid driver's license (proof required upon hire)

Ability to work independently and travel frequently

The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $50.00/hr.
