E.L. Harvey & Sons is looking for a skilled Diesel Mechanic to join our team.

Schedule: Monday - Friday, 2:00 PM to 12:00 AM & Saturdays as needed.

Pay Rate: Based on Experience

In this essential role, you will handle the maintenance of our transportation and equipment fleet. Responsibilities include inspecting, diagnosing, and repairing various systems such as electrical, hydraulics, suspension, brakes, and air systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Initiate and assign repairs using vehicle computer electronics to pinpoint issues.

• Document necessary paperwork through our fleet maintenance software for repairs, parts usage, and repair times.

• Review and manage repairs highlighted on Driver Vehicle Inspection Reports.

• Conduct thorough safety checks on vehicles and equipment.

• Respond to service calls for emergency breakdowns.

• Ensure a clean and safe work environment compliant with corporate and OSHA standards.

Job Requirements:

• Minimum 1 year of relevant experience required.

• Ability to adapt to diverse work environments.

• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.

• Welding/ fabrication experience is a significant plus!
