The role you'll contribute: Under general supervision performs General Sonographic procedures in accordance with department protocols. Actively participates in outstanding customer service and accepts responsibility in maintaining relationships that are equally respectful to all. Adheres to the AdventHealth Corporate Compliance Plan and to all rules and regulations of all applicable local, state, and federal agencies and accrediting bodies.

The expertise and experiences you'll need to succeed:

Minimum qualifications:

• Graduate of Ultrasound Program
• A minimum of the following two American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) specialty examinations:
1. Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) - Abdomen (AB), AND
2. Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) - Obstetrics & Gynecology (OB/GYN)
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Abdomen, Abdominal Doppler, OB/Gyn, Small Parts, and Interventional Sonographic Procedures
• Ability to learn and master new tasks related to the computer and AGFA Pacs system
• Ability to communicate effectively and work with people of diverse backgrounds

Preferred qualifications:

• Associates or Bachelors degree in healthcare-related field
• Knowledge of PACS and associated equipment
• Good organizational skills
• Breast sonography
• Pediatric and Neuro sonography
• Arm and Leg Venous Doppler
