DevSecOps Engineer

About the Role
We are seeking a DevSecOps Engineer who can take ownership of our cloud security environment and drive improvements across infrastructure, automation, and secure development practices. This individual will be responsible for ensuring that security is embedded in thesoftware lifecycle, optimizing cloud performance and cost, and working collaboratively across teams.
Responsibilities

• Lead and optimize the organization's Azure environment, including documentation, performance tuning, tagging, and security controls.
• Build and manage secure CI/CD pipelines with integrated automated testing.
• Deploy and maintain infrastructure through Infrastructure as Code (Terraform or similar).
• Strengthen container and orchestration security (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Monitor system activity, investigate anomalies, and lead incident response.
• Document cloud architecture and security practices for internal and external use.
• Partner with development, operations, and business stakeholders to align secure practices.
• Contribute to readiness for compliance reviews and internal security policies.

Requirements

• 3 years of experience in DevOps, DevSecOps, or Cloud Security roles.
• Proven expertise with Azure administration, optimization, and security.
• Proficiency in CI/CD pipelines, Infrastructure as Code, and scripting (Python, Bash).
• Hands-on experience with containers and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Familiarity with cloud security best practices, monitoring, and incident handling.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to influence and collaborate across teams.
• Nice to have: certifications, exposure to regulated industries, experience with additional cloud platforms (AWS, GCP), or knowledge of security frameworks.
