DevOps Senior Engineer

The DevOps Senior Engineer is responsible for supporting the test environments used to support Regional, Enterprise and/or other special project releases.

Location: This role requires associates to be in-office 1 - 2 days per week, fostering collaboration and connectivity, while providing flexibility to support productivity and work-life balance. This approach combines structured office engagement with the autonomy of virtual work, promoting a dynamic and adaptable workplace. Alternate locations may be considered.

How you will make an impact:

• Works directly with customers to define environment requirements and leads the environment set-up and maintenance.
• Monitors system performance and capacity for all test environments and troubleshoots environmental issues.
• Sets up and executes jobs to extract and manipulate test data, executes database changes and works with the database to ensure data related needed are handled efficiently.
• Leads test environment design or request meetings.
• Manages and executes the build, installation scripts and deployment scripts.
• Manages and maintains migrations between each tool promotion levels and the associated testing or production environment.
• Performs code migrations and may prepare, merge, and version code for production builds.
• Compiles release notes to summarize contents of each migration and creates scripts to migrate code.
• Works with the release team to transition from development to production.

Minimum Requirements: Requires a BA/BS degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or related field of study and a minimum of 4 years of IT experience, including application development experience; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.

Preferred Skills, Capabilities, and Experiences:

• Multiple trade certifications and multi-platform experience is strongly preferred.
• Rational Unified Process and Rational Tool Suite experience strongly preferred.
