We are seeking a skilled Dentist for a 2-day locum tenens assignment in Alabama beginning Oct 15, 2025. This opportunity offers day shifts on Wednesday and Thursday, 8am to 5pm, in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. The role involves providing comprehensive dental care to both children and adults alongside an established dental team.
Job Details

Responsibilities and Duties

• Perform hygiene checks, fillings, and crown and bridge procedures
• Complete premolar and anterior root canals, molar endodontics, and implant restorations
• Conduct simple and surgical extractions, including 3rd molar extractions
• Manage bone grafts, and provide full and partial dentures
• Deliver pediatric dental care, including pulpotomies, pulpectomies, extractions, and hygiene checks
• Refer out cases only when necessary

Additional Information

• Must have at least 1 year of clinical experience
• Comfortable working with children
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting
• Required certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS), Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR), Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA)
• Alabama dental license required
