Key Responsibilities

• Operate heavy equipment including skid steers, mini excavators, and loaders

• Perform demolition tasks such as soil excavation, concrete removal, and site preparation

• Assist with environmental emergency response and facility cleanup projects

• Safely handle and package hazardous materials for transport and disposal

• Decontaminate tools, vehicles, and work areas to maintain safety standards

• Respond to emergency spills using specialized equipment like Vac trucks

• Maintain accurate records of materials handled and equipment used

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of experience in construction, demolition, or general labor

• CDL Class B license with a clean driving record, or willingness to obtain

• Proven ability to operate heavy equipment safely and efficiently

• High school diploma or equivalent

• Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions

• Willingness to work a rotating on-call schedule (4 weeks active, 1 week on-call)

• Ability to travel for short-term environmental projects

• Capable of wearing a respirator and working with hazardous materials

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $28.00/hr.
