Join our team as a Delivery Driver, where you will perform job site deliveries and pickups at new home construction sites throughout an assigned region. You will deliver products in an organized manner, ensuring a great customer experience while clearly explaining the delivery circumstances to customers with a positive attitude. Your role will involve unloading materials, stacking them in an organized manner, accurately noting delivery paperwork, and documenting all work performed. You will drive to locations as directed by pre-set scheduling according to your assigned territory and select the necessary and accurate products from the truck using a pick sheet. You will also be responsible for material pickups and adhering to all safety policies and procedures.

Responsibilities include:

• Perform job site deliveries and pickups at new home construction sites.
• Deliver products in an organized manner, ensuring a positive customer experience.
• Explain delivery circumstances to customers with a positive attitude.
• Unload materials and stack them in an organized manner.
• Note delivery paperwork accurately and document all work performed.
• Drive to locations as directed by pre-set scheduling according to territory assigned.
• Select necessary and accurate products from the truck using a pick sheet.
• Responsible for material pickups.
• Adhere to all safety policies and procedures.

Essential skills:

• 2+ years of experience in delivery driving, preferably using a box truck.
• Experience delivering heavy materials.
• Experience in customer-facing or customer service roles.
• Customer service-oriented mindset.
• Ability to unload and load products efficiently.

Additional skills & qualifications:

• CDL not required.
• Demonstrate a positive attitude and exceptional customer service skills.
• Ability to lift heavy materials regularly, up to 100 pounds.
• Willingness to drive long routes in a 25-foot box truck.

Work environment:

You will work in a warehouse production environment as a manufacturer of doors and mouldings. The role involves driving a 25-foot box truck for long routes, potentially as far as the Canadian border or Orondo. You may be exposed to sawdust or other wood products. The shift typically runs from 6 am to 4:30 pm, though it may extend if still in transit. You will have your own truck to use, with the possibility of having a driver helper to assist on deliveries, although this is not guaranteed.

This is a contract to hire position based out of Everett, Washington.

Pay and benefits:

The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $27.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
