Position Summary:

As a Delivery Associate, you will play a vital role in ensuring our grocery products reach retail locations accurately and efficiently. This position involves unloading products and assisting the Grocery Driver in deliveries while adhering to Cumberland Farms’ standards.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Assist the Grocery Driver in unloading products from the tractor-trailer and delivering them to stores.
2. Read selection labels accurately to identify product descriptions and store numbers.
3. Lift, push, pull, and grasp products weighing up to 70 pounds.
4. Stand, walk, bend, and reach overhead continuously for two or more hours.
5. Handle a hand truck with a maximum weight of 400 pounds when fully loaded.
6. Operate the hand truck on various terrains, including wet, dry, icy, or uneven surfaces.
7. Communicate effectively with management, drivers, teammates, and customers.
8. Adhere to company policies on work attendance and safety.
9. Maintain a flexible work schedule to accommodate the distribution center’s needs, including early shifts, late shifts, and weekend work.
10. Cross-train in other departments to assist the distribution center as needed.
11. Perform basic mathematical calculations to verify product quantities.
12. Maintain a customer and safety-focused mindset.

Working Relationships: This position involves frequent interaction with Retail Store Team Members and the Distribution Shipping Department.

Requirements:

Minimum Education: High School diploma or equivalent.

Preferred Education: Associate degree.

Minimum Experience: Training will be provided by the Company.

Preferred Experience: At least one year in a warehouse or similar role that involves loading and unloading products.

Hours & Conditions: Flexibility to work 10+ hours, Monday through Friday, including weekends and holidays.
