OVERVIEW:

Under the supervision of Shelter Deputy Director, the Janitor will clean assigned areas regularly and assist in maintaining overall standards of cleanliness of the day program areas.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Maintain, clean, and organize the Modesto Day Program
Maintain the dining room and kitchen area
Maintain cleanliness in the office area and surrounding property
Other related duties as required

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

High school diploma or equivalent (Required)
18 years old (Required)

SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

Ability to coordinate and manage multiple duties
Ability to prioritize work and multi-task simultaneous projects
Have maturity and confidentiality
Ability to communicate effectively and accurately
Bilingual in Spanish (Preferred)
Have good interaction skills

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Relevant janitorial and maintenance equipment
