Datacenter Technician

*Position:* Network Technician
*Schedule:* 4 days a week, 10-hour shifts (6:00 AM - 4:30 PM, Monday to Thursday)
*What You'll Do:*
* Un-rack old equipment and rack and stack new equipment.
* Install or remove circuit jumpers to support new network configurations.
* Populate switch ports with optical transceivers.
* Box and unbox network equipment.
* Troubleshoot fiber optic circuits.
* Observe all safety protocols and complete daily reports.
* Read port-maps and operate laptops.
* Handle and run single-mode and multi-mode fiber jumpers.
* Understand patching and running fiber jumpers in a data center environment.
*Requirements:*
* All employees must be willing to submit to a background check and drug test.
* Steel toe boots and PPE are required.
* Certifications: Associates, A+, Network+, DT.
* Experience in Helpdesk and setting up workstations.
*Pay and Benefits*
The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $27.00/hr.
