Overview

Data Product Partner (On-Site - See Cities Listed) at Regions Bank. This role defines and oversees the development of internal data products/solutions that leverage Big Data and advanced analytics to increase profitability and efficiency for a specific business unit(s) in the Bank. Manages the complete lifecycle of these internal data products from inception, development, assessment of success, and maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Works closely with senior Data Product Partners on the implementation of data products
• Collaborates with a business unit to identify areas where Big Data and advanced analytics solutions can solve specific business problems
• Prioritizes product pipeline and creates a roadmap of products to be built
• Develops business requirements governing the proposed solution
• Identifies applicable data assets required to build the solution
• Identifies features to build predictive models that are part of the solution
• Participates in build vs. buy decisions and vendor selection where applicable
• Creates success criteria and measurement approaches to assess the impact of deployed Data Products
• Works with decision scientists to ensure model development strategy aligns with goals and assists in validating predictive models
• Coordinates with Big Data architects to create necessary infrastructure and technology stacks
• May oversee the solution acceptance testing process
• Interacts with senior level management
• May participate in industry conferences related to solving financial services problems using advanced analytics/Big Data

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, Information Systems, Finance, Statistics, or related field
• Five (5) years’ experience of related data work and interfacing with business stakeholders
• Experience with SDLC of software development and liaising with Business and Technology/Data teams, participating in or leading development of Analytical Software solutions following Agile methodology

Preferred

• Master's degree or higher in Computer Science, Engineering, Statistics or related quantitative field
• Financial Services experience
• Product Management or related experience

• Ability to work in a team environment when applicable
• Willingness to take ownership and drive accountability across all levels of the organization
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.)
• Strong verbal, written communication, and organizational skills

Work Arrangement & Locations

This position is intended to be onsite now or in the near future. Associates will have regular work hours, including full days in the office three or more days a week. Locations available: Birmingham, AL; Atlanta, GA; or Charlotte, NC.

Employment & Relocation

Regions will not provide relocation assistance for this position. This role requires authorization to work in the United States on a full-time basis. Job type: Full-time.

Compensation & Benefits

Pay ranges are job-specific and are provided as a point-of-market reference for compensation decisions. Minimums and ranges vary by location and experience. The information below reflects market references and is not a guarantee of actual compensation.

Minimum Job Range Target: $92,303.20 USD

Median: $118,580.00 USD

Incentive Pay Plans: This job is not incentive-eligible.
