Our client, a leading organization in the data center and critical facility management industry, is seeking a dedicated Data Center Building Engineer to join their team. As a Data Center Building Engineer, you will be an integral part of the operations team supporting critical infrastructure and ensuring seamless data center performance. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a proactive approach, which will align successfully within the organization.

What's the Job?

• Maintain, monitor, and perform preventive maintenance on all data center building systems to ensure 100% uptime.
• Manage electrical and mechanical infrastructure including UPS, generators, cooling systems, HVAC, chillers, and fire/life safety systems.
• Analyze system operations, identify malfunctions, and implement corrective actions promptly.
• Ensure compliance with safety policies for hazardous materials and maintain a clean, safe work environment.
• Coordinate work orders, manage vendor relationships, and handle customer-facing tickets efficiently.

What's Needed?

• Minimum of 2+ years experience working in a data center or critical facility environment.
• Experience with building systems such as UPS, emergency generators, and switchgears.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficiency with computer applications including MS Office, Google Suite, and CMMS.
• Ability to work physically demanding tasks including walking, climbing, lifting up to 50 lbs, and working at heights.
