Cyber Security Engineer (SME)

Overview

GovCIO is currentlyhiring fora Cybersecurity Engineer SME to support a Zero-Trust Architecture modernization project. This position will belocatedatLackland AFB in San Antonio, TX?and will be an onsite?position.

Responsibilities

Required Skills and Experience

• Clearance Required: Top Secret/SCI

• CISSP Certification or higher

• Technical experience with multiple operating systems, such as Windows, Linux, orESXi

• Experience with STIG compliance,vulnerability management, andapplication ofrisk management frameworkto both legacy and new systems deployments.

• Experience withUSAFcyber governance, risk, and compliance (GRC) platformsXactaandeMASS

• Understanding and experience with the DoD hardware/software approval process

• Strong understanding of network architecture

• Familiar with identity management solutions and SIEM software

Qualifications

High School with 9+ years (or commensurate experience)

Required Skills and Experience

• Clearance Required: TS/SCI

Preferred Skills and Experience

• CISSP-ISSAP or CISSP-ISSEP certification

• Experience with Unix operating system

• Experience working with a zero-trust architecture

Posted Pay Range

The posted pay range, if referenced, reflects the range expected for this position at the commencement of employment, however, base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, education, experience, and internal equity. The total compensation package for this position may also include other compensation elements, to be discussed during the hiring process. If hired, employee will be in an "at-will position" and the GovCIO reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, GovCIO or individual department/team performance, and market factors.

Posted Salary Range

USD $140,000.00 - USD $170,000.00 /Yr.
