Customs Trades Coordinator (DIRECT HIRE) - 1st Shift Sun-Thurs - Hybrid - $16.50

Our client, a leading logistics provider, is seeking a Customs Trades Coordinator to join their team. This a direct Hire opportunity. As a Customs Trades Coordinator, you will be part of the Customs Department supporting the import operations team. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, strong organizational abilities, and a problem-solving mindset which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Customs Trades Coordinator (DIRECT HIRE)

Location: Tonawanda, NY

Pay Range: $16.50/hr

Shift: 1st Shift - Sunday 7AM-330PM, Monday-Thursday 630AM-3PM

Hours: 40 hours a week

Training: On-site for training 3-6 months and remote after training with occasionally on-site commitment.

What's the Job?

• Coordinate the documentation required by US Customs and Government Agencies for the entry of goods into the US on behalf of importers.

• Provide impeccable customer service to ensure a smooth import process.

• Obtain correct classification of goods for customs release using various resources.

• Data entry and processing of various import-related documentation for submission to US Customs.

• Maintain and keep current all shipment documentation in compliance with record-keeping requirements.

What's Needed?

• High School Diploma or GED required.

• No industry experience required; however, a minimum of 6 months work experience is preferred.

• Data entry and keyboard experience required.

• Proficiency in MS Office, Outlook, and office equipment (phone, fax, photocopier, printer, scanner).

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
