We are seeking a dedicated CT Technologist to perform diagnostic CT exams on patients using our state-of-the-art equipment. In this role, you will collaborate with radiologists, physicians, and a team of healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality imaging results. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of imaging techniques, exceptional patient care skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Position Details

• Benefits Eligible: Yes
• Hours: 36 hours per week
• Shift Details: Day (Rotating Weekdays and Weekends)
• Pay: $35.25 - 54.39/hour, depending on experience

About Us

American Fork Hospital is a nationally recognized community hospital dedicated to meeting the healthcare needs of North Utah County's growing population. We offer 89 beds, an extensive medical staff representing 30 specialties, and a wide range of quality inpatient and outpatient services.

Essential Functions

• Maintain ARRT certification and competency in all clinical and technical functions.
• Ensure proper patient identification and order verification, preparing patients for exams.
• Perform exams per department protocol and review images for quality and accuracy.
• Adhere to radiation safety guidelines and maintain a safe working environment.
• Complete studies efficiently without compromising patient care or quality.
• Assist and instruct students and colleagues in CT protocols and procedures.
• Provide patient education and ensure comfort while addressing concerns.

Minimum Qualifications

• ARRT Certified (Radiologic Tech) upon hire.
• Basic Life Support Certification (BLS) required.
• State licensure as applicable upon hire.

Preferred Qualifications

• ARRT Certified Computed Tomography Technologist.
• 1+ years of CT experience.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to see and read information, operate equipment, and assess patient needs.
• Frequent interactions requiring effective verbal communication.
• Manual dexterity to handle delicate equipment and frequent computer use.
• Capable of lifting and transferring patients and handling supplies of varying weights.
• Ability to navigate crowded environments and assist with patient ambulation.
• May require standing for extended periods.
