CT Radiology Technologist On-Call

Position Type: PRN (On-Call)

Department: CT / Imaging and Diagnostics

Compensation: $35/hour | Daily pay available!

Shift Differentials: Additional pay available for night, weekend, and extra shifts.

Location: SSM Healthplex South: 13500 S. Tulsa Dr, OKC, OK

Requirements:

• ARRT-R required; must obtain ARRT-CT within 12 months of hire. CT cross-training can be offered.

Your Impact:

As a key member of our healthcare team, you will:

• Perform a variety of imaging exams essential for the diagnosis and treatment of illnesses and injuries.
• Position patients accurately and select anatomic and technical parameters.
• Uphold radiation safety and protection standards.
• Support physicians in special and advanced procedures.
• Administer contrast media and medications in accordance with legal and safety standards.
• Ensure high-quality images are submitted to PACS without delay.
• Maintain a clean and organized departmental environment.
• Work safely and alertly to prioritize patient care.
• Assist with other tasks as necessary.

Education Requirements:

• Associate's degree or completion of a Radiology certification program.

Experience:

• No prior experience is required; we welcome new graduates!

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to stand and walk frequently.
• Good vision for close and distant tasks.
• Strong communication skills for sharing information.
• Capability to lift and move patients, as well as objects weighing up to 50 lbs. occasionally.

Certifications Needed:

• Basic Life Support HealthCare Provider (BLS HCP) - American Heart Association (AHA).
• ARRT-R Radiography certification - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
• ARRT-CT Computed Tomography certification - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
