Salary Range: $83,200.00 - $93,184.00

Join our dynamic Critical Care Float Pool team! This role provides a fantastic opportunity to develop and enhance your critical care expertise across various specialty areas, including:

• Neuro-Surgical Trauma ICU
• Medical ICU
• Coronary Care Unit
• Cardiovascular ICU
• Intermediate Care ICU - MSICU

As a member of the Critical Care Float Pool, you can also expand your skill set with competencies in Emergency Department care and neuro-progressive care fields.

Key Responsibilities:

• Implement physician orders, administer medications, start IVs, and document treatment per company policy and regulations.
• Order, interpret, and evaluate diagnostic tests to assess patients' conditions.
• Assess patient needs and responses to care.
• Apply sound nursing judgment in making patient care management decisions.
• Provide primary and emergency care for various injuries and illnesses.
• Collaborate with the nursing team to develop a comprehensive Plan of Care for each patient.
• Guide ancillary personnel and uphold professional nursing standards.

Qualifications:

• Graduate from an accredited nursing program (Diploma, Associate, or Baccalaureate Degree).
• Current NYS Registered Nurse license is required.
• Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) is necessary.
• Minimum of 1-3 years clinical RN experience in Med-Surg or Progressive Care.
• Strong communication, prioritization, organizational, and time-management skills.
• Knowledge of quality improvement concepts and ability to apply these principles effectively.
