Critical Care Emergency Medical Technician - 24 Hour Shift

Pay: $19.10 - $24.83 / hour. Pay is dependent on applicant's relevant experience

Summary:
Join our dedicated team as a Critical Care Emergency Medical Technician, where you will respond to critical care transport calls and support the transportation of critically ill patients. You will be an essential part of a team providing high-quality emergency medical services.

Responsibilities:

• Drive and navigate the ambulance to and from treatment centers.
• Participate in detailed pre and post-transport briefings.
• Evaluate the nature and extent of patient illness or injury while gathering patient history.
• Administer emergency medical care, including patient stabilization and resuscitation, within your scope of practice.
• Coordinate with medical personnel and accurately report observations.
• Maintain ambulance equipment, restock supplies, and ensure cleanliness as needed.
• Utilize critical thinking and decisive judgment in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Current National Registry of Emergency Medical Technicians (NREMT) certification.
• Colorado EMT certification; Wyoming EMT certification within 6 months of hire.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) Healthcare Provider certification.
• Valid Driver's License; CEVO or EVOC certification preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years EMT experience, including 2 years of ambulance driving experience.

• BLS certification must be through the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross CPR for the Professional Rescuer, with a card in-hand before your start date.
