Critical Care Emergency Medical Technician - 24 Hour Shift

Pay: $19.10 - $24.83 / hour. Pay is dependent on applicant's relevant experience

Summary:
Join our dedicated team as a Critical Care Emergency Medical Technician, where you will respond to urgent transport calls and play a vital role in the care and transport of critically ill patients.

Responsibilities:

• Safely navigate and drive the ambulance to and from treatment facilities.
• Participate in pre and post-transport briefings to ensure coordinated care.
• Assess the nature and extent of illness or injury and gather pertinent patient history.
• Administer emergency medical care within your scope of practice, including patient stabilization and monitoring.
• Communicate effectively with medical personnel, reporting observations and adhering to directives from supervising medical professionals.
• Maintain equipment, restock supplies, and ensure the ambulance is clean and ready for use.
• Utilize critical thinking and judgment to make quick decisions in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements:

• Minimum Required Education: High School Diploma or GED.
• Required Licensure/Certification: National Registry of Emergency Medical Technicians (NREMT), Colorado EMT certification, Wyoming EMT certification within 6 months of hire, and Basic Life Support (BLS) Healthcare Provider certification.
• Valid Driver's License is necessary. Preferred certifications include CEVO or EVOC.
• Minimum Experience: 2 years of experience as an EMT with at least 2 years of ambulance driving experience.

• Possession of a valid BLS or CPR card, issued by the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross, must be up-to-date before the start date.
