Counter Sales Associate

Our client, a leader in electrical distribution and supply chain solutions, is seeking a Counter Sales Associate to join their team. As a Counter Sales Associate, you will be part of the sales support team, helping to drive electrical distribution sales and provide exceptional customer service. The ideal candidate will have strong negotiation skills, excellent communication abilities, and a team-oriented mindset, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Counter Sales Associate

Location: Owings Mills, MD

Pay Range: $20.00 per hour

Shift: 7:00 AM - 4:00 PM, 8-hour shift

What's the Job?

• Drive electrical distribution sales for the counter business

• Develop account plans and penetration strategies

• Perform all aspects of selling to maintain and grow customer accounts

• Provide outstanding customer service and build lasting relationships with clients

• Assist with other duties as assigned to support team objectives

What's Needed?

• Strong negotiation and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Good team player with a collaborative attitude

• Strong organizational skills and ability to work efficiently under tight deadlines

• Basic computer skills, including typing and familiarity with Windows-based software

• Electrical product knowledge, including lighting, switchgear, controls, and electrical commodities

• Experience in electrical distribution or related sales environment is preferred

• Familiarity with automated order entry systems and PC usage
