Primary Responsibilities

• Client Management and Business Development
• Maintain and expand a book of business of at least $500k
• Build and strengthen relationships with new and existing clients, ensuring their legal and business needs are consistently met
• Drive business development activities including networking, seminars, conferences, and other events
• Legal Services: Provide comprehensive legal counsel on corporate matters, including M&A, governance, securities, regulatory compliance
• Draft, review, and negotiate complex commercial contracts and agreements
• Represent clients in negotiations, mediations, and litigations when necessary
• Firm Leadership and Strategy: Collaborate with other partners to shape and execute the firm’s strategic objectives
• Mentor and guide junior attorneys
• Contribute to the firm's knowledge base through research, publications, and presentations
• Operational Excellence: Ensure adherence to high standards of legal practice and ethics
• Collaborate across departments to ensure seamless client service
• Participate in firm-wide committees and initiatives to drive process improvement

Qualifications

• Juris Doctorate from an accredited law school
• Valid license to practice law in MA
• Minimum 8 years of experience in corporate law, with a track record as a generalist handling diverse corporate matters
• Established book of business of at least $500k
• Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain strong client relationships
• Strong leadership, collaborative work, and client-facing skills
• Excellent analytical, communication, and negotiation skills
• Proficient in legal research tools and software
