Our client, the healthcare industry, is seeking a Cook - Grill to join their team. As a Cook - Grill, you will be part of the Food & Nutrition department supporting hospital operations. The ideal candidate will have attention to detail, teamwork skills, and a strong work ethic which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Cook - Grill

Location: Mount Vernon, IL

Pay Range: $23.15 per hour

Shift: Hours Per Shift: 8

What's the Job?

• Accurately and efficiently prepare, portion, grill, and present a variety of hot and cold food items for various meal periods
• Support breakfast, lunch, dinner, and special/catered events with high-quality food preparation
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the food preparation area
• Follow all safety and sanitation guidelines to ensure a safe working environment
• Collaborate with team members to deliver excellent service and food quality

What's Needed?

• No prior experience required; open to candidates eager to learn
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to food safety standards
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Willingness to adhere to uniform and safety requirements
