Controls Engineer

Responsibilities

  Troubleshoot and repair electrical control devices.

  Assist plant associates with technical questions and potential solutions.

  n

• n

  Investigate and resolve HMI and PLC issues as needed.

• n

  Interpret PLC Ladder logic effectively.

  n

• n

  Work independently on smaller projects.

  n
n
• n

  Travel extensively, up to 90%, for project work.

  n
n
• n

  Aid in the installation and startup of new equipment.

  n
n
• n

  Read and interpret electrical drawings accurately.

  n
n
• n

  Test and verify electrical wiring, including safety circuits, I/O, and communications.

  n
n
• n

  Debug and test all software to ensure it meets project requirements.

  n
n

Essential Skills

n
• n

  Ability to troubleshoot and repair HMI and PLC systems.

  n
n
• n

  Proficiency in interpreting PLC Ladder logic.

  n
n
• n

  Experience with Fanuc PMC Controllers for at least two years.

  n
n
• n

  Experience with Rockwell PLC Control for at least two years.

  n
n
• n

  Minimum experience with Mitsubishi PLC control.

  n
n
• n

  Two years of experience in an automation/manufacturing environment.

  n
n
