Contracts and HR Specialist

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Contract Manager/Specialist for a 6-month contract role to support a strategic project. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the end-to-end contract lifecycle, including retrieving, reviewing, organizing, and negotiating contract terms with vendors. This role requires strong communication skills, the ability to work independently, and experience in contract management and vendor negotiations.

Onsite 3 days a week in Bedford, MA.

Key Responsibilities:

• Contract Retrieval: Locate and pull executed contracts from various internal systems and repositories.
• Organization & Tracking: Centralize and maintain an organized system for tracking all contracts relevant to the project.
• Contract Review: Analyze contracts to identify specific language and terms aligned with the project scope.
• Vendor Engagement: Communicate with vendors to discuss, negotiate, and finalize amendments or assignments of agreements as needed.
• Progress Reporting: Track project milestones and provide regular updates and reports to leadership on status, risks, and outcomes.
• Collaboration: Work cross-functionally with legal, procurement, and business teams to ensure alignment and compliance.

Qualifications:

• Experience: 5–7 years of experience in contract management, legal operations, or a related field.
• Skills:
• Strong understanding of contract language and legal terminology.
• Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Experience with contract lifecycle management (CLM) systems is a plus.
