Construction Superintendent

We are seeking an experienced Construction Superintendent to manage and oversee 1-2 project sites. The role primarily involves supervising existing multifamily projects with occasional ground-up and single-family home projects. This position requires a strong background in supervision and is a blend of Superintendent and Project Manager responsibilities.

Supervise daily jobsite operations, ensuring safety, quality, and schedule adherence. Oversee all subcontractors and coordinate their activities to maintain workflow and timelines. Conduct daily site inspections and document progress using Buildertrend software. Upload daily logs and site photos via work tablet. Communicate regularly with the Operations Manager. Assist with scheduling, procurement, and change orders, ensuring efficient project planning and execution from pre-construction through closeout. Identify and resolve issues that may impact project timelines or quality.

5+ years of experience overseeing crews with knowledge of multifamily construction. Proven experience as a Construction Superintendent, Project Manager, or similar role. Strong understanding of construction processes, subcontractor coordination, and jobsite safety. Proficiency with Buildertrend or similar construction management software. Excellent communication and leadership skills. Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks. Tech-savvy with experience using tablets and mobile apps for field documentation.

OSHA certification or equivalent safety training. Experience in residential or commercial construction projects. Familiarity with subcontractor management and scheduling tools.

This position is onsite in Rochester, NY. The role requires managing construction activities with a focus on safety and quality, using technologies such as Buildertrend software and mobile apps for documentation. A collaborative and proactive work style is essential.

The pay range for this position is $36.00 - $42.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
