If you know lumber and building products and enjoy helping contractors get what they need-accurately and efficiently-this is the opportunity for you. You'll be the go-to person behind the counter and over the phone, managing quotes, orders, and relationships in a fast-paced environment.

- Assist walk-in and call-in customers with quotes, product knowledge, and purchase support.
- Process sales transactions, including stock and special orders.
- Source and quote non-stock items from vendors to meet customer needs.
- Schedule and coordinate deliveries to contractor job sites.
- Maintain strong, ongoing relationships with current customers while building new business.
- Manage pricing, product availability, and delivery timelines with accuracy and efficiency.
- Handle returns, resolve issues, and follow up on outstanding items.
- Keep sales and customer records organized using internal systems and basic software tools.
- 3+ years of experience in contractor sales or building materials industry.
- Strong product knowledge of lumber and general building supplies.
- Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proven customer service skills with a sales-driven approach.
- High level of organization, attention to detail, and ability to work independently.
- Basic computer proficiency (email, order entry, inventory systems).
- High School diploma or GED required.
- Competitive base salary: $60,000-$90,000 per year
