Construction Manager

We are seeking a Construction Manager to oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of construction projects related to materials handling systems, including conveyor systems, automated storage and retrieval systems (AS/RS), racking, and other industrial infrastructure. The ideal candidate will ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest safety and quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Manage all phases of construction projects from pre-construction through closeout, ensuring alignment with project goals and client expectations.
• Lead and coordinate subcontractors, vendors, and internal teams to ensure efficient workflow and timely execution.
• Develop and manage project budgets, schedules, and resource plans. Monitor progress and adjust plans as needed.
• Oversee daily operations on construction sites, ensuring compliance with safety regulations, quality standards, and company policies.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, providing regular updates and addressing concerns promptly.
• Maintain accurate records including RFIs, change orders, progress reports, and punch lists.
• Conduct inspections and ensure all work meets engineering specifications and regulatory requirements.

Essential Skills

• 5+ years of experience in heavy industrial, steel/concrete construction sites.
• Experience with heavy industrial construction including steel structures and concrete.
• Proficiency in scheduling software and Microsoft Project.
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and equipment.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with schedules, cost estimates, and bid packages is preferred.
• Familiarity with construction language and processes.

Work Environment

• The position requires on-site work with some travel to construction sites.
• The work involves overseeing industrial construction projects, ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards.
• This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Powell, Ohio (long-term, full-time employment).

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $38.00 - $48.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
