Job Description

AECOM Hunt is seeking a Construction Intern to be based in any of the following locations:

• Indianapolis, IN
• Nashville, TN
• New Orleans, LA
• Jamaica, NY
• Chicago, IL
• Cincinnati, Ohio
• Greenwood, IN
• Grand Rapids, MI
• Jacksonville, FL
• University Park, PA
• Fort Lauderdale, FL
• Orlando, FL

This position is expected to begin in Spring or Summer 2026

The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:

• Performs a variety of assignments designed to develop professional work knowledge and abilities, requiring the application of standard techniques, procedures, and criteria in carrying out tasks.
• Follows instructions to accomplish tasks assigned by senior staff.
• Meets required schedules while producing quality work.
• Interns are assigned duties that will provide a broad, well-rounded learning experience within their field of study.

Internships are designed to introduce and build essential, hands-on skills that differ from those attained in the academic arena and help to enhance the transition from student to professional.

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements:

• Must be currently enrolled as a full-time student in a 4-year college or university and seeking either a bachelor's or master's degree majoring in construction management, building technology, civil engineering or similar major

Preferred Qualifications:

• Ability to follow direction and manage specific tasks to completion.
• Ability to learn new technologies and concepts.
• Demonstrated leadership abilities.
• Willing to work on a variety of tasks alone or as part of a team.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
