Connected Flow Supply Planner

In this role you will coordinate and expedite the flow of materials (from suppliers and within departments) according to production schedules. Plan and schedule material/production needs. Responsible for departmental operations planning/execution or is focused on execution of professional activities within a technical discipline. Functions with some autonomy but guided by established policies or review of end results. The job allows modification of procedures and practices covering work as long as the end results meet standards of acceptability (quality, volume, timeliness etc).

Roles and Responsibilities

• Train suppliers on pull
• Transition suppliers from MRP / Min/Max to pull
• Create pull loops for supplier PN's
• Establish supplier WIP & finished goods protocol
• Establish supplier inventory strategy
• Establish forecast/supplier under consumption protocol
• Facilitate & support Daily Management problem solving
• Train and develop additional sustain supply planners

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university (or a high school diploma/GED with at least 4 years of experience in Supply Chain Management, Supplier Relations, Materials and/or Production Planning)
• Minimum 3 years of experience in Supply Chain Management, Supplier Relations, Materials and/or Production Planning
