Component Runner-2nd shift

Ryder Manufacturing Position

Ryder is immediately hiring a permanent full time component runner at our warehouse manufacturing facility in Ontario, CA. Manufacturing and construction positions pay weekly.

Hourly Pay: $18.00 per hour

Schedule: Second Shift Tuesday-Friday 3:00pm- 1:30am

Products Being Handled: Pallets

Equipment: Palamatic Machine and Rolling Line

Various construction, building, carpentry, manufacturing, warehouse, skilled and semi-skilled labor roles at Ryder support distribution across the US.

The hourly rate for this position ranges is $19.00 an hour. Employees may also be eligible for shift premium.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• 1 to 2 years or more in working in a fast-paced environment preferred
• 0 to 1 year in carpentry, manufacturing environment preferred
• Ability to comprehend basic math
• Must be able to lift and move up to 75 lbs
• Ability to operate power tools in a safe manner
• Ability to follow inspecting process
• Able to work at a steady, fast pace

Responsibilities

• Load material on and off skids, pallets, and stands
• Identifies, examines, accepts, rejects and disposes of material used in construction and repair of pallets
• Uses basic processes of inspection/examination procedures for material
• Operate tools and equipment in performance of work assignments
• Prepare labels as required
• Performs other duties as assigned
