Compensation: $25.60/hr

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor FSIS/CFIA regulatory activities and ensure plant compliance with standards. Serve as the liaison between USDA/CFIA and plant operations.
• Act as the primary point of contact for customers, addressing inquiries and complaints while coordinating with operations to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Lead the planning and execution of quality, sanitation, regulatory, and food safety programs to meet company, governmental, and customer expectations.
• Manage employee selection, training, performance evaluations, and operational efficiencies.
• Review and verify process results, collaborating with Corporate Technical Services and relevant Managers within the Business Unit.
• Work alongside Technical Services Managers across the organization to foster collaboration and compliance.

Required Qualifications:

• Must be eligible to work in the United States without Visa sponsorship.
• Must be 18 years or older.
• Strong understanding of USDA/CFIA requirements, with leadership capabilities to motivate and engage employees in business practices.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (MS Word, Access, PowerPoint, Excel).
• Comprehensive knowledge of plant operations, with the ability to train employees effectively.
• Fundamental knowledge of safe food handling and employee safety practices.
• Basic math skills for managing weights, measurements, and orders.
• Good communication skills (reading, writing, and speaking English).
• Able to manage conflict through enforcement of procedures.
• Acceptable attendance record (as determined by the company).

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in beef processing.
• Quality Assurance or supervisory experience.
• Lab testing experience.
• Bi-lingual skills (English and Spanish).
